What to expect from a free consultation
If you’re receiving treatment for the first time, we know it can be a nerve-racking experience. Here at Paragon Aesthetics, we’ll always go above and beyond to make our patients feel comfortable, which is why we offer free consultations prior to any treatment.
We thought it would be best to explain this process in more detail, so you know what to expect from your free consultation.
Booking a consultation
To book a free consultation you can contact us via our Instagram or Facebook page, our email enquiries@paragonaesthetics.co.uk or through our contact form on our website.
The type of treatment you have enquired about will determine the practitioner you will see. All of our appointments are carried out by a team of qualified dentists and dental therapists who are all fully insured and GDC registered.
Once you have contacted us, our treatment coordinator Emma, will respond to book in a date for your consultation. Emma will take your personal details and a £30 refundable deposit to secure the booking.
The £30 deposit is redeemable against the treatment if you choose to proceed, or it will be fully refunded if you decide not to have treatment post consultation – which is absolutely fine, we allow our patients to make an informed decision whether to go ahead or not.
The day of consultation
We currently have COVID-19 safety measures in place at the clinic:
- Pre appointment screening by phone
- Enhanced practitioner PPE
- Patients requested to attend alone where possible and wear a face covering unless exempt
- Alcohol gel stations
- Enhanced cleaning
- No dermal filler treatments 2 weeks before or after vaccination
Your consultation will usually last around 30 minutes, here you can discuss in detail with our practitioners your concerns and why you are thinking about having treatment.
Our practitioners will also carry out a facial assessment and will record your surgical, medical and social history, including your current skin care regime if relevant.
Within the appointment you will be able to discuss treatment options and products available, including cost. Furthermore, our practitioners will show you before and after images of the treatments discussed enabling you to get a realistic idea of the results.
Our practitioners will also talk you through the consent for the treatments and other alternatives, as again, we believe it is best to let our patients make an informed decision as to whether the treatment is right for them.
You will be given the practitioners contact details should you wish to contact them with any further questions after your free consultation.
Post-consultation
If you have discussed in depth treatment plans during your consultation, you will receive a follow up letter detailing the treatments and options discussed.
Our treatment coordinator, Emma will then be in touch to discuss if you would like to book in and go ahead with the treatment. If you decide not to go ahead you will be refunded your £30 deposit.
Our patient care comes first which is why we will never put pressure on you to book in for a treatment after a free consultation. It is entirely your choice whether you would like to have the treatment.
