Aesthetics vs Surgery
All our services at Paragon Aesthetics are non-surgical procedures. Our ethos has always been to create natural-looking results, this is why we love aesthetics treatments and the power they have to subtly change your appearance, without any huge trauma or permanence to the skin. Keep reading to find out more about the benefits of aesthetics in comparison to surgery.
Less downtime
With aesthetics treatment, there is little to no downtime, unlike cosmetic surgery where you can be off work for up to 4 weeks or more depending on the procedure. After aesthetics treatment you can get usually back to your normal routine straight away, although it is normal to experience swelling, redness or bruising.
More cost-effective
It goes without saying that aesthetics treatment is a more cost-effective alternative to surgery. Although aesthetics treatments need to be maintained, the initial cost is far less than surgery and once you’ve gradually built up to your desired look, the less maintenance treatments you’ll need.
Non-permanent and immediate results
We often find our clients prefer the non-permanent aspect of aesthetics, as the procedure is reversible it’s less of a risk than a surgery result, which could change the way you look forever. Non-surgical procedures give you the chance to change your mind if you decide aesthetics isn’t for you in the future.
A safer option
Although there are risks of adverse reaction with all treatment, whether it be surgical or non-surgical, surgery often involves scalpel to skin procedures and a form of anaesthetic, which could be perceived as more of a risk than aesthetics treatment. At Paragon Aesthetics we always try to minimise the risks by ensuring we practice in a clean and safe clinical environment and provide you with detailed aftercare instructions.
