The Paragon Effect – Kay's experience with polynucleotides
In this case study we’ll be highlighting how one of our new, high-demand polynucleotide treatments, Ameela (previously branded Nucleofill and Nucleadyn), has transformed Kay’s skin quality.
Before embarking on her Ameela journey Kay, who is a patient of Dr. Chloe’s, said: “I had a consultation with Dr. Chloe, who was very understanding and has a lovely calming manner. So, let’s look at her journey with us:
Consultation
- First appointment in September 2020 and previously had toxin, cheek, chin and tear trough filler, as well as Profhilo
- Wanted to try and reduce more of the fine lines and further improve appearance of ageing
Presenting complaints
- Believed she had deep lines on the cheek region that were worsening
- Kay wanted to improve skin laxity under the eyes
- She also wanted a more overall lift to face
Treatment process
- Initial appointment for full facial assessment and assess skin quality
- Treatment planned over two appointments
Facial assessment determined by Dr. Chloe
- Good volume in the mid face
- Some volume loss in the tear troughs
- Deep set lines around crows feet and mid-face
- Laxity in skin and poor elasticity
Treatment plan
After a discussion with Dr. Chloe about the importance of a holistic approach to treatment, Kay went ahead on a treatment journey of:
- Appointment 1 – initial consultation
- Appointment 2- 2x syringes of Ameela – Ameela Medium for eyes and Ameela Strong for rest of the face
- Appointment 3 – review and second dose of Ameela (as above)
- Appointment 4 – review
Ameela is not a filler or a toxin, it’s an injectable bio-stimulant gel that activates the production of type-1 collagen and the regeneration of skin tissues to create an immediate lifting effect. Although you can see immediate lifting results, we always recommend a course of 2 treatments minimum to be carried out 2 weeks apart, which is what we have implemented here in Kay’s treatment plan.
