Are you affected by the Sk:n Clinic closures?
You may have recently seen the sad news of the closure of popular Harley Street aesthetics and plastic surgery chain, the Sk:n Clinic.
The Sk:n Group operated over 70 branches across the UK and is now sadly in administration leaving over 800 people unemployed and thousands of patients without a treatment plan in place.
Why did Sk:n Clinics collapse?
Following a statement on their website, the SKN Group, which included sub-brands: Sk:n Clinics, Skinbrands, The Skin Experts, the Harley Medical Group and ABC Medical ceased trading on 17 July, as they were unable to secure further investment to continue trading.
Who owns SK-N?
In 2019 Sk:n Clinics was acquired by private equity firm TriSpan, where they continued with more acquisitions, including the Harley Medical Group in the same year, as well as other competitor chains, forming the multi-brand group it was at the time of its closure.
If you were a patient, what can you do now Sk:n has closed?
Patients who were in between treatment plans with sk n clinic and have paid for treatment they will now not receive are being advised to contact their bank or card provider for further assistance, or equally those in a credit agreement are being advised to contact their respective finance companies.
